The finest stars and cars of the entire United States of America will square off in Concord,N.C. the first weekend in November on the 2nd and 3rd as Cand C promotions presents The John Blewett III Memorial 5th Annual North-South Shootout plus The inaugural East-West Supermodified Shootout. John Blewett III won the first North-South Shootout in a photo finish and was a multi-time winner of the shootout and when the Mod Family lost him earlier this year;the race was renamed in his honor.
The top Nascar Tour Type Modified drivers from both the Whelen Tour and the Whelen Southern Tour plus the ROC Tour and the True Value Modified Series Tour will all square off for the big money 100 lap Modified Shootout.The inaugural East-West Supermodified feature will showcase the Countries finest Supermodified drivers on the World's Fastest Half-Mile Tri-Oval competing in a 50 lap shootout.
In addition to the Mods and Supermodified's fans will be treated to the popular SK-Type Modifieds,the Crate SK-Type Modifieds,Vintage Modifieds and Vintage Sportsman cars that roared up and down the East Coast during the 50's,60's and 70's plus the always exciting 4 cylinders and pedal car races for the children.
Practice,Qualifying and heat races are on tap for Friday and Friday night with Feature events and possible consi events on Saturday as the top drivers in the U.S.A. invade Concord Motorsports Park
